The best thing was the very open-minded and humorous service, may the young man keep this way 😉👍 the food and the dessert "tipsy plum on vanilla ice cream" were really delicious

We received a very friendly welcome and were given a very friendly service for 1 week. From breakfast to dinner everything was great. the room upstairs under the roof is large with a view of Langeoog and the Mahlbusen. Despite Corona, an all-round successful holiday 🌞

We stayed here as a couple for a week. The rooms are not very big but functional and very clean. In this price category, hairdryers and WLAN are not a matter of course, as is a wonderful view of the dike or the Mahlbusen. The breakfast was put together as requested. Very nice staff, we felt almost at home from the first day. The food is delicious too. We particularly recommend fish and dyke lamb as well as the dessert with the chocolate mousse variants. Reservation strongly recommended as it is always well attended. Conclusion: Even if the house is no longer the newest, the price-performance ratio and the feel-good factor are absolutely right.

We were only in the restaurant to eat. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We ate there twice and loved all of the dishes. We would be happy to come back.

Food was good. But very cold in the restaurant. When asked, I was informed that it was still too warm outside to heat

The food was arranged very carelessly. Unfortunately, the pieces of fish (four different) tasted very similar to breading - the difference to the fried potatoes that was served was small. No decoration or anything like that. The two baked potatoes (actually a baked potato with fish, but I preferred two potatoes) were carelessly on two small plates - mind you, they were for one person. Here also without any decoration. The restaurant looks great from the outside and is well cared for, the interior is okay but also rather careless ... A shame.

We had been there for dinner tonight. The premises are from the 80s and so is the smell! Despite the mask, it smelled musty and old. The food was so-so. We will avoid this restaurant for the rest of our vacation and don't understand the positive reviews.

Simple, nice and friendly staff, the walls are very noisy and the rooms are small, but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay by the sea.

Very friendly and nice owner couple. Very tasty dishes are personally cooked by the chef. Great fish dishes. By the way: sleeping is also very pleasant in this hotel.

-Chef seemed dubious, clothing-wise and oratory (slippers, sweatpants, old-fashioned) -Cash and prepayment (tax ?!: D) -do not specify check-out time -no wifi password -850m to the parking lot at the stand + Breakfast and spontaneous booking At breakfast the boss seemed more relaxed and personable again. Just because of that 3 instead of 2 stars.

We didn't stay here but tried the restaurant. And we were very excited. It tasted really very good here, the salad marinade is homemade and you can really taste it. The mustard sauce for the Baltrum fish fillet platter, which was really fantastic, was also very tasty. I can only recommend it. It's a shame that it doesn't look so good. I think if you made the restaurant optically more inviting, more guests would eat here. The service is really very friendly and courteous. And the wine recommendation was perfect.

A hotel that got stuck in the 80s! Rooms were clean but very small. Daily room cleaning nil !!! Breakfast in a dark dining room where there was dead silence. Because of Corona you got your breakfast served at the table, which is not bad, but the sausage and cheese plate was already on the table (covered), although the boss could not estimate when you would appear for breakfast. I would have liked to have taken this and the already softened butter out of the refrigerator when every guest comes to his table. It all seemed very listless and loveless to us! For dinner I can only say that my pork tenderloin unfortunately died twice. Once when slaughtering and then when roasting. It was tough and really not good, as was the totally sour salad, which clearly got way too much cheap vinegar. I don't know how to get such hymns of praise about food !? We were disappointed because we relied on the reviews. We wouldn't want to book here anymore !!!

The rooms are very tidy and the food is delicious. We were completely satisfied for 5 days and the breakfast was something for everyone. We say thank you and stay healthy ❤️

Menu doesn't offer any vegetarian food despite the salad. After ordering a special menu I got a child size meal which didn't satisfy me at all. On top prices were too high for what I got (5€ for a salad). Btw. the fish is, at least in 1 out of 2 cases, tasty.
